After a rather tough play, C.A.BANFIELD's Inocencio Montes got a free kick in the 6th minute. The supporters of Shield FC booed when C.A.BANFIELD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Andres Gerazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A.BANFIELD's Ariel Aurken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Frechoso in the 12th minute of play. Andres Gerazan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Ariel Aurken when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Andres Gerazan in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ariel Aurken, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 29 minutes into the match, Shield FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Frantzes came free, but Fermin Abeitia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Flavio Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Sebastian Incendio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Shield FC fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Shield FC's Andres Gerazan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ariel Aurken was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Evaristo Frechoso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 43 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andres Gerazan made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Quinito in the 52nd minute of play forced Shield FC's goalkeeper Fermin Abeitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Octavio Quinito came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the C.A.BANFIELD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Quinito couldn't finish the play. Evaristo Frechoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Aurken having to interfere. Flavio Navarro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fermin Abeitia firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Shield FC's Fermin Abeitia got control of the ball when Flavio Navarro tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Flavio Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Norberto Matei fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.BANFIELD's protests and gave Norberto Matei a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C.A.BANFIELD getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Norberto Matei hit a great ball. Victorino Quico didn't quite understand what happened when in the 77 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. C.A.BANFIELD's Ariel Aurken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Gerazan in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Gerazan in the 87th minute of play forced C.A.BANFIELD's goalkeeper Ariel Aurken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Octavio Quinito recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fermin Abeitia. Octavio Quinito showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. With a little luck, Shield FC's Fermin Abeitia got control of the ball when Flavio Navarro tried to sneak it across the goal line.
