The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cornelio Orixe made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by River Plate de Hurlingham's Nafiz İshak. Hipolito Perfecto made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Inocencio Oliverios sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute, Los Pibes FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Inocencio Oliverios fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 15 minutes, Alberto Isidor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Pibes FC and the River Plate de Hurlingham players grew even worse after the yellow card. River Plate de Hurlingham's Adan Herensuge was substituted for Abel Lopes. Los Pibes FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Inocencio Oliverios scored to the left of an out of position Hipolito Perfecto, making the score, 1-1. Inocencio Oliverios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnulfo Silviano during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Los Pibes FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Arnulfo Silviano hit a great ball. After 26 played minutes, Los Pibes FC's Oscar Bermund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emilio Mercurio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Pibes FC reached it. 27 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when River Plate de Hurlingham's Inocencio Oliverios fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. River Plate de Hurlingham's Adan Herensuge got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Inocencio Oliverios had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hipolito Perfecto. Los Pibes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Inocencio Oliverios was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. River Plate de Hurlingham's Emilio Mercurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Romo in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Los Pibes FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Arnulfo Silviano hit a great ball. Inocencio Oliverios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Hipolito Perfecto made a huge save. Hipolito Perfecto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adan Herensuge showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 43 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lorenzo Romo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Arnulfo Silviano made a precise shot to the right of Emilio Mercurio. River Plate de Hurlingham's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Inocencio Oliverios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hipolito Perfecto came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by River Plate de Hurlingham's Inocencio Oliverios. But to his dismay, Inocencio Oliverios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 66th minute, Alberto Isidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. River Plate de Hurlingham's Manuel Rodas got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hipolito Perfecto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Oliverios in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Manuel Rodas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 72 played minutes River Plate de Hurlingham got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Llorienzo. After having played for 78 minutes, Manuel Rodas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River Plate de Hurlingham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Rodas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Valentin Dantae fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Pibes FC's protests and gave Valentin Dantae a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd match minute, Los Pibes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Dantae to maneuver through the defense. Nafiz İshak didn't quite understand what happened when in the 84 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After 87 played minutes Los Pibes FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Isidor. When River Plate de Hurlingham's Inocencio Oliverios in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Pibes FC's goalie prevented a goal. 94 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when River Plate de Hurlingham's Inocencio Oliverios fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Manuel Rodas struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Hipolito Perfecto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River Plate de Hurlingham.
