Conrado Gombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Otsoa in the 32nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Confederación Suiza defense, Paulo Santiago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niceto Herrera. The Confederación Suiza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niceto Herrera should have stopped the shot. Ernesto Etxeberri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niceto Herrera having to make a save. Niceto Herrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Sanchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Confederación Suiza's zone, Paulo Santiago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Herrera came out of the goal and Paulo Santiago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Gaspar Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salvador Ado to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulo Santiago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Paulo Santiago fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palermo's protests and gave Paulo Santiago a yellow card for diving instead. Paulo Santiago kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 54th match minute, Confederación Suiza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Oso to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Confederación Suiza's Gaudencio Gitano got a free kick in the 61st minute. Niceto Herrera made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Ernesto Etxeberri sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the game, Lucas Sanchez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Niceto Herrera. Lucas Sanchez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. The referee felt a red card was in order, 79 minutes into the game, when Felix Gauargi put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Palermo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Etxeberri during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Niceto Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Sanchez in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Confederación Suiza's Blas Sadurni got a free kick in the 96th minute.
