Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rogelio Brion made the kick off and thus started the match. Escalante AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Esteve Senio scored to the left of an out of position Humberto Pagomari, making the score, 1-0. Vladimiro Pacho kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Oroño's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Rolado came free, but Saturnino Timo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Candido Rolado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saturnino Timo. Oroño's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Candido Rolado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Saturnino Timo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogelio Brion went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Uriel Tano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Pagomari having to interfere. A collision led to Oroño getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Evaristo Blasco hit a great ball. Rogelio Brion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Saturnino Timo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Candido Rolado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Timo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Senio in the 39th minute of play forced Escalante AFC's goalkeeper Humberto Pagomari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Escalante AFC's goalkeeper Humberto Pagomari, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Escalante AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esteve Senio made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Brion in the 53rd minute of play forced Oroño's goalkeeper Saturnino Timo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th match minute, Escalante AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Oto to maneuver through the defense. Esteve Senio took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Humberto Pagomari. Humberto Pagomari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Uriel Tano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Esteve Senio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Esteve Senio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67thth minute of the game Esteve Senio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Escalante AFC's Humberto Pagomari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Uriel Tano struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Humberto Pagomari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oroño. German Hurko charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Hurko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 69 minutes into the game, one of Escalante AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cecilio Cuarto walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Candido Rolado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogelio Brion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Saturnino Timo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saturnino Timo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Brion in the 79th minute of play. Candido Rolado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saturnino Timo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play.
