But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardino Inocente couldn't finish the play. The supporters of E.C. Santo André ARG booed when Olivia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Jordy didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Olivia FC's Fernando Matteo in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye E.C. Santo André ARG's goalie prevented a goal. Bernardino Inocente's late challenge caught a E.C. Santo André ARG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardino Inocente helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Bernardino Inocente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, E.C. Santo André ARG's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Matteo came free, but Froilan Hermon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to E.C. Santo André ARG getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Severo Hermelando hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Ciano got free with Antonio Mergildo in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 24 minutes, Lucas Avellaneda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E.C. Santo André ARG and the Olivia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in E.C. Santo André ARG's zone, Bernardino Inocente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Hermon came out of the goal and Bernardino Inocente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Matteo in the 35th minute of play forced E.C. Santo André ARG's goalkeeper Froilan Hermon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Olivia FC's Bernardino Inocente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Froilan Hermon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 37 minutes, Arturo Berasko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E.C. Santo André ARG and the Olivia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 38 minutes, Fernando Matteo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olivia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Matteo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. E.C. Santo André ARG's Froilan Hermon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Inocente in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Serafino Regis notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Olivia FC's Antonio Mergildo. Antonio Mergildo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th minute, Fabian Gombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Matteo in the 49th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Froilan Hermon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Bernardino Inocente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Fernando Matteo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Froilan Hermon was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 57th minute Fernando Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Hermon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bernardino Inocente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Olivia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Regis came free, but Antonio Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Olivia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Jordy to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Mergildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Regis in the 70th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Bernardino Inocente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froilan Hermon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. E.C. Santo André ARG's Damian Ciano got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antonio Mergildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Ciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st match minute, Olivia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Jordy to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Olivia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Ciano came free, but Antonio Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Platon kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Olivia FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing E.C. Santo André ARG to leave the ground with a draw.
