Romeo Gutxi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 3rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience was convinced that Alan Franco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lázaro Mundo was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. RSME CAI's Leif Nordin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Gilesindo in the 7th minute of play. After having played for 9 minutes, Alan Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RSME CAI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alan Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Loncopué AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Beltran came free, but Lázaro Mundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Godofredo Beltran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celedonio Gilesindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Leif Nordin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godofredo Beltran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 0-1 became the score in the 40th minute when Godofredo Beltran elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Silvano Cordarrel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leif Nordin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Celedonio Gilesindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Leif Nordin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Gilesindo in the 57th minute of play forced RSME CAI's goalkeeper Leif Nordin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvano Cordarrel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Leif Nordin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amancio Hori's late challenge caught a RSME CAI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amancio Hori helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, one of Loncopué AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Loncopué AFC. Loncopué AFC:s Lázaro Mundo showed great skill when he stopped Francisco Olmos:s penalty. In the 72nd minute, Francisco Olmos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RSME CAI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Alan Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Lázaro Mundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godofredo Beltran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Mundo having to interfere. With a little luck, Loncopué AFC's Lázaro Mundo got control of the ball when Alan Franco tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched RSME CAI eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
