With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Chico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Severiano Mergildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Nordin having to interfere. After 22 played minutes RSME CAI got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Beltran. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hilario Lizer during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Asoc. Barracas Corazon got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Lizer. Ramiro Balendin kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Silvano Rios's late challenge caught a Asoc. Barracas Corazon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvano Rios helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of RSME CAI:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Asoc. Barracas Corazon:s goal. Barracas Corazon booed when RSME CAI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Hurko didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Severiano Mergildo in the 43rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Leif Nordin's left hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafal Gmoch was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Asoc. Barracas Corazon getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Cleto Fernandes hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafal Gmoch in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leif Nordin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alan Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Flavio Ishmael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of RSME CAI booed when Asoc. Barracas Corazon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Neron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walter Neron took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leif Nordin. Leif Nordin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Leif Nordin came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Asoc. Barracas Corazon's Severiano Mergildo. But to his dismay, Severiano Mergildo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Paulino Clemencin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Nordin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Mergildo in the 89th minute of play forced RSME CAI's goalkeeper Leif Nordin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulino Clemencin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Leif Nordin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Rafal Gmoch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Asoc. Barracas Corazon players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
