Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alonzo Frederico kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Los Pibes Darin got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Alonso. 8 minutes into the match, Canallas Del Oeste's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Froila came free, but Hipolito Theobald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonzo Frederico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Theobald having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Canallas Del Oeste's Angelino Ihintza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blas Oto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th match minute, Canallas Del Oeste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Munio to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Angelino Ihintza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Alonzo Frederico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Zaccardi in the 32nd minute of play forced Los Pibes Darin's goalkeeper Blas Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Los Pibes Darin's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Ihintza came free, but Blas Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Froila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Aquilino Herena hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Canallas Del Oeste's Ricardo Hunfredo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Los Pibes Darin. Isaac Lalla's late challenge caught a Canallas Del Oeste's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Lalla helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Los Pibes Darin got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Lalla. Blas Oto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelino Ihintza in the 84th minute. Angelino Ihintza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Oto having to interfere. After some careless play in the Canallas Del Oeste defense, Alonzo Frederico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hipolito Theobald. The Canallas Del Oeste fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hipolito Theobald should have stopped the shot. Many of Canallas Del Oeste's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Canallas Del Oeste may have spent more time on the ball, but Los Pibes Darin were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
