The Avestruz AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Delmiro Izel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Belo in the 13th minute. In the 13th match minute, Cosquín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Venerando to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Florinio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Espiridion's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Espiridion in the 16th minute of play forced Cosquín's goalkeeper Arturo Florinio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmiro Izel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Belo in the 17th minute. Cosquín's Sebastian Belo got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Avestruz AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Godofredo Bento scored to the left of an out of position Delmiro Izel, making the score, 1-1. Godofredo Bento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Belo got free with Delmiro Izel in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alejandro Franco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Delmiro Izel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rolando Frans's late challenge caught a Cosquín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolando Frans helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Rolando Frans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Avestruz AFC's zone, Sebastian Belo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmiro Izel came out of the goal and Sebastian Belo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Franco in the 39th minute of play forced Avestruz AFC's goalkeeper Delmiro Izel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Avestruz AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Luisito Rico hit a great ball. Cosquín's Arturo Florinio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Hyben in the 43rd minute of play. Avestruz AFC's Francisco Eufrasio got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Espiridion to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Cosquín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Belo to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Steve Hyben dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arturo Florinio, 1-2. 60 minutes into the game, Severino Erasto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cosquín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avestruz AFC the free kick. Cosquín's Arturo Florinio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Hyben in the 61st minute of play. If Alejandro Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmiro Izel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Belo in the 81st minute of the match. Delmiro Izel came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Cosquín's Sebastian Belo. But to his dismay, Sebastian Belo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 84 minutes into the match, Cosquín's goalkeeper Arturo Florinio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Eufrasio. In the 87th play minute Francisco Eufrasio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arturo Florinio. 2-4. In the 93rd minute of the game, Luisito Rico landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Venerando during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Avestruz AFC booed when Cosquín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Venerando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avestruz AFC played a much better game than Cosquín and deserved their victory. The Cosquín players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
