Spectators: 7101 (Terracing: 5327, Seating: 1633, VIP seats: 141) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Melchor Guib kicked off to start the match. Arnaldo Erruki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Rico having to interfere. Paulino Brais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After a defensive mix-up in LOS MUCHACHOS's zone, Melchor Guib stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Rico came out of the goal and Melchor Guib tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matías Romero in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Brais saved Terremoto from getting behind. Fermin Errapel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Paulino Brais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Terremoto's Paulino Brais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Romero in the 13th minute of play. When Matías Romero came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the LOS MUCHACHOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matías Romero couldn't finish the play. Aaron Rico came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Terremoto's Arnaldo Erruki. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Erruki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Arnaldo Erruki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Rico having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Dante Matteo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Cordera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulino Brais. Terremoto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiburcio Cordera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Moises Garaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOS MUCHACHOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Garaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Brais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Terremoto's Melchor Guib in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LOS MUCHACHOS's goalie prevented a goal. Aaron Rico made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Arnaldo Erruki sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Aresti in the 44th minute of play forced Terremoto's goalkeeper Paulino Brais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiburcio Cordera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Brais having to interfere. Raimundo Ordono could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Aaron Rico made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benito Aresti was the one to do the kick off. Tiburcio Cordera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulino Brais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Fermin Errapel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Arnaldo Erruki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Terremoto's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Erruki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Rico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute Benito Aresti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Brais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Basilio Abascal in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by LOS MUCHACHOS's Guaberto Mano. Guaberto Mano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Terremoto booed when LOS MUCHACHOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Cordera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Tiburcio Cordera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOS MUCHACHOS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Benito Aresti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Brais having to interfere. After 90 played minutes Terremoto got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Abascal.
