If Genaro Montrelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mamotretos! Mamotretos:s Giannis Iordanopoulos showed great skill when he stopped Angel Steven:s penalty. Ulises Francho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basilio Abascal charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basilio Abascal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Mamotretos a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Genaro Montrelle, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Terremoto's Paulino Brais. 0-2. When Mamotretos's Ulises Francho in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Terremoto's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mamotretos's zone, Arnaldo Erruki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giannis Iordanopoulos came out of the goal and Arnaldo Erruki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Mamotretos getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Serafin Frans hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the game, Amado Etor threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mamotretos's Gustavo Raymon quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience was convinced that Pascual Donio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulino Brais was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 42nd minute Ulises Francho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Brais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulino Brais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Montrelle in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Genaro Montrelle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mamotretos's supporters rose to their feet, but Genaro Montrelle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Brais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

In the 54th minute of the match, Genaro Montrelle tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paulino Brais saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ulises Francho scored 0-3 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulino Brais, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Terremoto's zone, Ulises Francho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Brais came out of the goal and Ulises Francho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the last second Paulino Brais throw himself and got hold of the ball when Genaro Montrelle in the 61stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Genaro Montrelle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Mamotretos's Genaro Montrelle ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulino Brais. Paulino Brais yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. In the 83rdth minute of the game Ulises Francho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Terremoto's Paulino Brais was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mamotretos's Genaro Montrelle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulino Brais. That made the score 0-5 after 92 minutes of play. Mamotretos made a substitution. Gaudencio Loiola replaced Ulises Francho. When the match was over Mamotretos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Terremoto throughout the match.
