Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benigno Azubeli kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Cacharí FC's Damaso Caetano got control of the ball when Ermegildo Fernandes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damaso Caetano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 13th minute, Arnaldo Berto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Abel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Damaso Caetano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damaso Caetano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Vicente Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damaso Caetano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Cacharí FC's zone, Vicente Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damaso Caetano came out of the goal and Vicente Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Serafino Bittor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Epifanio Abel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 35th match minute, Cacharí FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Abajas to maneuver through the defense. Epifanio Abel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Caetano having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Cacharí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Azevedo came free, but Damaso Caetano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damaso Caetano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Piquillín booed when Cacharí FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorio Fidencio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicente Azevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cacharí FC's Marcial Orlondo got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Epifanio Abel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Caetano having to interfere. Vicente Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Damaso Caetano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piquillín . In the 60th minute Vicente Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Caetano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Piquillín 's Epifanio Abel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damaso Caetano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Cacharí FC's Agustin Reyes got a free kick in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Epifanio Abel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Damaso Caetano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 77 minutes into the match, Piquillín 's goalkeeper Aurelio Bertran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafino Bittor. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Vicente Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piquillín 's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damaso Caetano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serafino Bittor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Bertran having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Cacharí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Azevedo came free, but Damaso Caetano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Vicente Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Caetano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damaso Caetano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Abel in the 95th minute of play. When Epifanio Abel came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Piquillín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Abel couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Piquillín players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
