Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorino Seme in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Desiderio Alfonso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the match, Godfredo Guter notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Santa Fe F.C.'s Melchor Giraldo. Melchor Giraldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Severiano Lucado kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Jose Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-1 became the score in the 30th minute when Victorino Seme elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Godfredo Guter fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alcorta's protests and gave Godfredo Guter a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Godfredo Guter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute Jose Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Alfonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Santo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Desiderio Alfonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jose Santo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Desiderio Alfonso having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorino Seme to make the kick off. 61 minutes into the game, Victorino Seme lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Desiderio Alfonso. Victorino Seme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Alfonso having to interfere. Jose Santo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Desiderio Alfonso made a huge save. If Victorino Seme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute of the match, Victorino Seme tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Desiderio Alfonso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 1-5 became the score in the 75th minute when Victorino Seme elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jose Santo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Desiderio Alfonso made a huge save. Victorino Seme might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Desiderio Alfonso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victorino Seme ran back to his position shaking his head. Desiderio Alfonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Seme in the 87th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Santa Fe F.C.'s Victorino Seme slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Desiderio Alfonso. That made the score 1-7 after 91 minutes of play. Santa Fe F.C.'s Bonifacio Misael was substituted for Jose Santo. When the final whistle sounded Santa Fe F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Alcorta.
