Malanzán's Romeu Gerber got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eloy Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Lesardo in the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Diego Gurutz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taiguer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malanzán the free kick. A collision led to Taiguer getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Diego Gurutz hit a great ball. In the 46thth minute of the game Ramiro Montes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taiguer's Eloy Iratxo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Casimiro Lesardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Iratxo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Casimiro Lesardo ran back to his position shaking his head. Ramiro Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th match minute, Malanzán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Gilesindo to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Taiguer's Eloy Iratxo got control of the ball when Casimiro Lesardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Malanzán's Kraig Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Quinto in the 87th minute of play. Kraig Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Gurutz in the 89th minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, Taiguer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Berto to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes Taiguer got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Cristofor. When the final whistle sounded Malanzán left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Taiguer.
