C.A. Pampero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maru FC the free kick. Mariano Frechoso kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When Hugo Gombal came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Maru FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Gombal couldn't finish the play. If Jesus Lluc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justo Blasco made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Antonio Eron sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st match minute, Maru FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Abechuco to maneuver through the defense. C.A. Pampero's Justino Berdoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Olentzaro in the 24th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Roberto Rafel made a precise shot to the right of Justino Berdoi. C.A. Pampero's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Rafel in the 33rd minute of play forced C.A. Pampero's goalkeeper Justino Berdoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Millrick kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 36 minutes of play, Maru FC's Isaias Olentzaro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Justino Berdoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Justino Berdoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Olentzaro in the 47th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, C.A. Pampero's Remigio Hug got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roberto Rafel to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, one of C.A. Pampero:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Isaias Olentzaro shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. A collision led to Maru FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Rogelio Paez hit a great ball. If Jesus Lluc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Isaias Olentzaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Berdoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Olentzaro in the 65th minute of play forced C.A. Pampero's goalkeeper Justino Berdoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaias Olentzaro struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Justino Berdoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maru FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Olentzaro in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justino Berdoi saved C.A. Pampero from getting behind. Antonio Alfonso hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Generoso Ubelteso hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, one of Maru FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Maru FC. C.A. Pampero's Justino Berdoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Olentzaro in the 91st minute of play. If Antonio Eron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Jesus Lluc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justo Blasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. C.A. Pampero's Justino Berdoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 100th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Pampero from getting a goal against them. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
