Boca Jrs's Iwo Kostrzewski got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Catapla FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Omar Sancho hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Boca Jrs's Iwo Kostrzewski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eustaquio Porfiro. Eustaquio Porfiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to Catapla FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jonathan Vigil hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Albano Abechuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes Catapla FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Baladi. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Iwo Kostrzewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Jrs's supporters rose to their feet, but Iwo Kostrzewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustaquio Porfiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Baladi kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Catapla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Abastas to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Paulo Gonçalves put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eustaquio Porfiro. Iwo Kostrzewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Eustaquio Porfiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Castel came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Catapla FC's Joel Caradaro. But to his dismay, Joel Caradaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 47th minute Fernan Ireno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Castel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernan Ireno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iwo Kostrzewski struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Eustaquio Porfiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Jrs. Eustaquio Porfiro came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Jrs's Iwo Kostrzewski. But to his dismay, Iwo Kostrzewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 58th minute, Iwo Kostrzewski made a precise shot to the right of Eustaquio Porfiro. Catapla FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Eustaquio Porfiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwo Kostrzewski in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Paulo Gonçalves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eustaquio Porfiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 69th minute Candido Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Castel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Paulo Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Jrs's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustaquio Porfiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eustaquio Porfiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Kostrzewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iwo Kostrzewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eustaquio Porfiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Iwo Kostrzewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Paulo Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
