Juventud Obrera's Gaspar Satordi got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taponazo Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Pascual Lando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pascual Lando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fermin Urbez's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Pascual Lando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Satordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Juventud Obrera's Gaspar Satordi in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Juventud Obrera's Humberto Santarém got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Edgardo Rudolfo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Juventud Obrera's Franck Keupink didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Satordi in the 38th minute of play forced Taponazo Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Pascual Lando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Ishmael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Jonas Maldonado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pascual Lando was relentless in the 50th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Gaspar Satordi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Pascual Lando 78 minutes into the match. Fermin Urbez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspar Satordi in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascual Lando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Taponazo Fútbol Club's Pascual Lando got control of the ball when Fermin Urbez tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Fermin Urbez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Taponazo Fútbol Club's zone, Gaspar Satordi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascual Lando came out of the goal and Gaspar Satordi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pascual Lando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fermin Urbez in the 95th minute.
