Benjamin Abaurre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Feliz in the 25th minute of play. Benjamin Abaurre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romeo Guzman's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, CSyD Lampalagua's Che Guevara got a free kick in the 27th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Chorizoseco FC's Apolo Tono nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Abaurre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Denis Etxeberri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Elpidio Dodorol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Chorizoseco FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denis Etxeberri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to CSyD Lampalagua getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Teodoro Betadur hit a great ball. After 72 played minutes Chorizoseco FC got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Pancho. In the 73rd minute of the match Gabriel Baptista sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elpidio Dodorol skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tadeo Marin during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 85 minutes, Venancio Feliz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chorizoseco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venancio Feliz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Abaurre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Tono, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see CSyD Lampalagua lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
