Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rene Alfonso made the kick off which started today's match. Rene Alfonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Mederi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Saavedra AFC's zone, Godfredo Hegoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Mederi came out of the goal and Godfredo Hegoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Rene Criston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 9 minutes, Rene Alfonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aluminé's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Alfonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 13 minutes, Bartolo Ascencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aluminé and the Saavedra AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bartolo Ascencio hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Aluminé:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Saavedra AFC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Raul Francho, was totally fooled by Saavedra AFC's Ladislao Fagondo, who 15 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Nicanor Mederi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Hegoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicanor Mederi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Hegoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Aluminé's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Emmanuel came free, but Raul Francho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Aluminé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Marz to maneuver through the defense. Jose Txanton charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Txanton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Aluminé's Jose Txanton got a free kick in the 26th minute. A hard shot by Ladislao Fagondo from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Raul Francho's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Godfredo Hegoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nicanor Mederi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apolo Emmanuel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Saavedra AFC's Angel Haritzeder got a free kick in the 39th minute. Raul Francho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Emmanuel in the 42nd minute of the match. Nicanor Mederi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Alfonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Godfredo Hegoi made a precise shot to the right of Nicanor Mederi. Saavedra AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Marcial Atauri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Raul Francho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godfredo Hegoi got free with Nicanor Mederi in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rene Criston was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Apolo Emmanuel charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apolo Emmanuel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Apolo Emmanuel kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Celedonio Elivareo shot from long distance in the 76th minute, but Nicanor Mederi was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saavedra AFC's goalkeeper Nicanor Mederi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raul Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Atauri in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Godfredo Hegoi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Godfredo Hegoi struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Nicanor Mederi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aluminé. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Saavedra AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aluminé had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
