Spectators: 7063 (Terracing: 5299, Seating: 1624, VIP seats: 140) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Filomeno Ferman made the kick off which started today's match. Filomeno Ferman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Mederi having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Fernan Costante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flamengo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saavedra AFC the free kick. Fernan Costante kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Esteve Blasco came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Saavedra AFC's Marcial Atauri. But to his dismay, Marcial Atauri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Marcial Atauri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteve Blasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Atauri came free, but Esteve Blasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Saavedra AFC's Marcial Atauri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteve Blasco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Melchor Mouricio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marcial Atauri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Flamengo getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Bernardo Clemencin hit a great ball. Esteve Blasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Emmanuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 played minutes Flamengo got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Costante. Apolo Emmanuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Blasco having to interfere. Marcial Atauri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteve Blasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Apolo Emmanuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Blasco having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Apolo Emmanuel made a kick off. The supporters of Saavedra AFC booed when Flamengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Costante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melchor Mouricio charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melchor Mouricio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Saavedra AFC booed when Flamengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Mouricio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Melchor Mouricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 64 minutes, Marcial Atauri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saavedra AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Atauri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saavedra AFC's Marcial Atauri got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esteve Blasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Emmanuel in the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Marcial Atauri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteve Blasco. Flamengo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcial Atauri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Melchor Mouricio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicanor Mederi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Marcial Atauri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteve Blasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Emmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute of the match Jonathan Koldo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esteve Blasco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Mouricio in the 87th minute of play forced Saavedra AFC's goalkeeper Nicanor Mederi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Filomeno Ferman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Mederi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Ferman in the 93rd minute of play forced Saavedra AFC's goalkeeper Nicanor Mederi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apolo Emmanuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Saavedra AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
