The supporters of Tambería AFC booed when Super Campeones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Orain didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Super Campeones's Filiberto Flores got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 21 played minutes Super Campeones got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Medero. In the 24th play minute Adan Quintyn came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Anselmo Sein. 1-1. When Ambrosio Medero came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Super Campeones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambrosio Medero couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Super Campeones's Anselmo Sein got control of the ball when Adan Quintyn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Super Campeones's Anselmo Sein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Bonifaco in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benigno Bonifaco to make the kick off.
