Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Candido Xabat got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Montoya FC's zone, Candido Xabat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Gonchan came out of the goal and Candido Xabat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Montoya FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Godfredo Ponc scored to the left of an out of position Sixto Gonchan, making the score, 1-1. A collision led to Montoya FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Teofilo Iban hit a great ball. Leandro Betadur took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sixto Gonchan. Montoya FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Benavides was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Palban to maneuver through the defense. Teo Pere came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Montoya FC's Mauro Oskitz. But to his dismay, Mauro Oskitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Sixto Gonchan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Xabat, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Sixto Gonchan had great luck who in the 43rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Arnaldo Jokin from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudio Asteri to strike the kick off in the second half. Benavides's Teo Pere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Oskitz in the 54th minute of play. Montoya FC's Mauro Oskitz got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Vela during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Benavides's Godfredo Ponc in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montoya FC's goalie prevented a goal. 66 minutes into the game, Silverio Palban cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Sixto Gonchan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Montoya FC's Sixto Gonchan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Jokin in the 71st minute of play. After 73 minutes of play, Benavides's Silverio Palban made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sixto Gonchan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Candido Xabat took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sixto Gonchan. Sixto Gonchan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. A collision led to Montoya FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Cleto Eguzki hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Leandro Betadur shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sixto Gonchan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Silverio Palban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sixto Gonchan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Palban in the 84th minute of play. Claudio Asteri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Pere having to interfere. Benavides's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
