In the 14th minute, Anta FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nuri Acunalp fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Uriel Frichoso succeeded in the game's 17th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Victorio Egoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Serapio in the 24th minute of play. After some careless play in the Anta FC defense, Uriel Frichoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Lopes. The Anta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Lopes should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Oasis FC booed when Anta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Serapio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anta FC's Alvaro Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Anta FC from getting a goal against them. Victorio Egoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Nabar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Oasis FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Anta FC:s goal. The referee gave Anta FC a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lino Medero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Oasis FC's Victorio Egoi. 2-1. Joel Maule took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorio Egoi. Victorio Egoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaias Serapio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Dolfo in the 52nd minute of the match. Joel Maule charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Maule the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute Isaias Serapio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Egoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Oasis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Nabar came free, but Victorio Egoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Anta FC's Isaias Serapio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Isaias Serapio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvaro Lopes came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Oasis FC's Amancio Dolfo. But to his dismay, Amancio Dolfo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Nabar got free with Victorio Egoi in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Amancio Dolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oasis FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amancio Dolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victorio Egoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Serapio, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Anta FC's Eusebio Nabar got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Anta FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
