The supporters of Chorroarín FC booed when C.A. Alvear was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Fidensio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvear was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmondo Pace to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Drake Nurthen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Constantino Sidoro was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. When Albino Gau fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chorroarín FC's protests and gave Albino Gau a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave C.A. Alvear a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Paulo Ikatz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chorroarín FC's Constantino Sidoro. 0-1. Chorroarín FC's Marcelo Ilazki came free and shot a quick shot against goal 21 minutes in the game, fortunately Sebastian Gomesano had problems saving as it came toward the left post. C.A. Alvear's Sebastian Gomesano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Otoniel in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Chorroarín FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Laureano Argider hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes C.A. Alvear got a freekick which was hit by Matias Fidensio. Sebastian Gomesano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Armando Montrelle showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 47 minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 61st minute, Marcelo Ilazki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chorroarín FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 66th minute, Primitivo Pacorro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Gomesano was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Alvear's Matias Fidensio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Matias Fidensio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of C.A. Alvear protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Matias Fidensio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Otoniel in the 85th minute of play forced C.A. Alvear's goalkeeper Sebastian Gomesano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Gomesano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Ilazki in the 93rd minute of play. Chorroarín FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
