But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Montae couldn't finish the play. Primitivo Fanuco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Elija, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 17th minute Eugenio Elija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Fanuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Dario Rocio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Quilinquil FC's Primitivo Fanuco got control of the ball when Dario Rocio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Quilinquil FC's Modesto Lehior got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugenio Elija to strike the kick off in the second half. Primitivo Fanuco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Elija in the 51st minute of play. Dario Rocio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Primitivo Fanuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Quilinquil FC's Modesto Lehior got a free kick in the 65th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Eugenio Elija managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Furia F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Elija was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 74 minutes, Tomas Godoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Furia F.C. and the Quilinquil FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, La Furia F.C.'s Tomas Godoy got a free kick in the 74th minute. Eugenio Elija received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Primitivo Fanuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Quilinquil FC's Jose Montae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lisandro Remicio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Primitivo Fanuco came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by La Furia F.C.'s Dario Rocio. But to his dismay, Dario Rocio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some careless play in the Quilinquil FC defense, Dario Rocio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Primitivo Fanuco. The Quilinquil FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Primitivo Fanuco should have stopped the shot. Primitivo Fanuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Elija, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
