The audience was convinced that Adriana Blasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teo Bikendi was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After 12 minutes of play, Facundo's Celedonio Ponciano made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Elpidio Batista took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Rolando Ignado to make any attempt to save it. 43 minutes into the match, Facundo's goal looked a bit too open when Adriana Blasco came free, but Teo Bikendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, el gran chaparral's Rolando Ignado got control of the ball when Elpidio Batista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adriana Blasco made a kick off. Marcelino Juvenal hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Cecilio Orlandus fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Facundo's protests and gave Cecilio Orlandus a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th match minute, Facundo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Orlandus to maneuver through the defense. Maurício Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Adriana Blasco came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the el gran chaparral fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriana Blasco couldn't finish the play. Albano Baleren hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Facundo had won after a very even match.
