After 10 minutes MAKO FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nicolás Pavlovich who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Milian in the 13th minute of play forced EL DORADO's goalkeeper Ignacio Florian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, EL DORADO's Ignacio Florian got control of the ball when Saul Galoer tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 18 minutes, Amador Omero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EL DORADO and the MAKO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Amador Omero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Milian struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ignacio Florian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MAKO FC. A collision led to EL DORADO getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Victoriano Gauargi hit a great ball. Nicolás Pavlovich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Justo Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 minutes of play, MAKO FC's Saturnino Liberto made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignacio Florian was left in no man's land by his defense there! Justo Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolás Pavlovich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justo Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Omero, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 43 minutes into the match, EL DORADO's goalkeeper Ignacio Florian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saul Galoer. If Amador Omero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 52nd match minute, MAKO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Crispo to maneuver through the defense. Justo Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Omero in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Saturnino Liberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MAKO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Liberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to MAKO FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Saul Galoer hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, EL DORADO's Genaro Gonza got a free kick in the 64th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Hugo Milian notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of EL DORADO's Ignacio Florian. Ignacio Florian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ignacio Florian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Milian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Florian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Milian in the 81st minute of play. Saturnino Liberto charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Liberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of EL DORADO booed when MAKO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Liberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nicolás Pavlovich fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EL DORADO's protests and gave Nicolás Pavlovich a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Nicolás Pavlovich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saul Galoer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Amador Crispo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Florian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hugo Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the MAKO FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
