Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Arsenio Sugar came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Facundo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsenio Sugar couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Celedonio Ponciano fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 9 minutes into the match, Celedonio Ponciano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silvestre Bidari, 1-0. Celedonio Ponciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Silvestre Bidari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Facundo booed when Johnnie Walker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Lluis didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Johnnie Walker getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Generoso Salomone hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Facundo's Joaquin Maldonado broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 22nd minute Celedonio Ponciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Bidari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celedonio Ponciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenio Sugar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvestre Bidari read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Johnnie Walker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Urtzi to maneuver through the defense. Arsenio Sugar might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvestre Bidari. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arsenio Sugar ran back to his position shaking his head. Celedonio Ponciano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 39th minute. Facundo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Cecilio Orlandus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Johnnie Walker's zone, Celedonio Ponciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Bidari came out of the goal and Celedonio Ponciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elpidio Batista to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Elpidio Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Bidari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Esquipula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. But to his dismay, Celedonio Ponciano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Filiberto Frasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Facundo's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiberto Frasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Bidari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Johnnie Walker's zone, Arsenio Sugar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Bidari came out of the goal and Arsenio Sugar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celedonio Ponciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Bidari having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Elpidio Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Facundo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elpidio Batista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elpidio Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
