Ovidio Handi hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When Leo Cuartio came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Pastilocos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Cuartio couldn't finish the play. Lorenzo Astudillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narciso Behe went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Silvio Manni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Aldosivi's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Cuartio came free, but Lorenzo Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Gregory Talley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Pastilocos's goal looked a bit too open when Gregory Talley came free, but Adolfo Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Leo Cuartio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Pastilocos's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Cuartio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Astudillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Pastilocos's Leo Cuartio got a free kick in the 60th minute.
