In the 21st minute, Anselmo Kaxen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sebastian Karanewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Ipar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Padro in the 26th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Boca Junior's zone, Esteve Toli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Ipar came out of the goal and Esteve Toli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute Ciro Galindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Ipar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Karanewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulgencio Evangelista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. If Sebastian Karanewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Karanewski took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Evangelista. Fulgencio Evangelista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Eustacio Padro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Pablo Ipar made a huge save. Arnaldo Osasun shot from long distance in the 72nd minute, but Pablo Ipar was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. When Amador Quin fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Boca Junior's protests and gave Amador Quin a yellow card for diving instead. Amador Quin hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Boca Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Toli came free, but Pablo Ipar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Club Atletico Boca Junior were victorious despite being under pressure from Prosperosomos for much of the match.
