Alex Combi started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Jurdan in the 3rd minute of play forced Yapeyú FC's goalkeeper Jimeno Rocendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Oxarra hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Aureliano Lop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Argina in the 7th minute of play. Ladislao Jurdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Rocendo having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, C.A.Franzoi's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Oxarra came free, but Aureliano Lop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliano Lop didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rene Oxarra went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Alf Månsson scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aureliano Lop, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Israel Oxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Eulalio Weather was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.Franzoi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yapeyú FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.A.Franzoi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Aureliano Lop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Oxarra in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Combi in the 33rd minute of play forced C.A.Franzoi's goalkeeper Aureliano Lop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ladislao Jurdan might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimeno Rocendo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ladislao Jurdan ran back to his position shaking his head. If Ladislao Jurdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Yapeyú FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ladislao Jurdan made the kick off in the second half. Mateo Ondino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Lop having to interfere. Aureliano Lop came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Yapeyú FC's Alex Combi. But to his dismay, Alex Combi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Rene Oxarra succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 64th playminute. In the 71st minute, Yapeyú FC's Rene Oxarra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Alex Combi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Aureliano Lop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Jurdan in the 77th minute of play forced Yapeyú FC's goalkeeper Jimeno Rocendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Mateo Ondino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aureliano Lop was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 84th minute, Israel Oxel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C.A.Franzoi's Aureliano Lop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Ondino in the 86th minute of play. Yapeyú FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
