Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Clodoveo Santo started the match with the kick off. Edgardo Gaizko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anibal Ted having to make a save. After a rather tough play, STaRToWN's Raul Lucado got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute of the match Edgardo Gaizko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anibal Ted showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edgardo Gaizko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Ted having to interfere. Arturo Brion could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Anibal Ted made a huge save. A collision led to STaRToWN getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Dante Lorien hit a great ball. Deportivo Ca.Bi's Emilio Gar got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clodoveo Santo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anibal Ted read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 27th minute of the game Gaston Baladi made a throw-in which Natalio Urtsin played forward. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Ca.Bi's Edgardo Gaizko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anibal Ted. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. Edgardo Gaizko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Gar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Clodoveo Santo came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Deportivo Ca.Bi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Santo couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Inocencio Sustrai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, STaRToWN's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Gaizko came free, but Anibal Ted reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Patrido struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Anibal Ted didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Ca.Bi. The supporters of STaRToWN booed when Deportivo Ca.Bi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Patrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Edgardo Gaizko notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of STaRToWN's Anibal Ted. Anibal Ted was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emilio Gar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anibal Ted read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Edgardo Gaizko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Santo in the 75th minute of play forced STaRToWN's goalkeeper Anibal Ted to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Gar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Deportivo Ca.Bi defense, Pastor Satordi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Astudillo. The Deportivo Ca.Bi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Astudillo should have stopped the shot. The supporters of STaRToWN booed when Deportivo Ca.Bi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquinhos Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Deportivo Ca.Bi were the better team. Deportivo Ca.Bi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
