Marmolado club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Serrano the free kick. A collision led to Marmolado club getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Maximiliano Cucao hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Enzo Aureo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicanor Edur made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Thomas Alefors sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Urti during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Serrano booed when Marmolado club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Urti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 minutes of play, Marmolado club's Marcelo Urti made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabian Nuxila was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Serrano defense, Israel Berto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Nuxila. The Serrano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Nuxila should have stopped the shot. Serrano's Fabian Nuxila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Berto in the 30th minute of play. If Eliseo Marino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Nuxila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Berto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faustino Victoro kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Fabian Nuxila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Berto, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Eliseo Marino struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Fabian Nuxila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marmolado club. Fabian Nuxila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliseo Marino's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severino Duardo during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Serrano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Duardo to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Marmolado club were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 51 played minutes Marmolado club got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Martxelin. Eliseo Marino might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Nuxila. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Marino ran back to his position shaking his head. Tadeo Otoniel hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Israel Berto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Fabian Nuxila skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
