The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luisito Gabino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valeriu Banica's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Benicio Abaunza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Luisito Gabino made a huge save. Luisito Gabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriu Banica in the 8th minute of play. Mateo Tancredo's late challenge caught a Hijos del Powa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Tancredo helped the player get up and apologised. The goalkeeper, Luisito Gabino, was totally fooled by Hijos del Powa's Leonardo Sosa, who 10 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Mikelats in the 19th minute of play forced Hijos del Powa's goalkeeper Alonzo Iratxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Valeriu Banica managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hijos del Powa's supporters rose to their feet, but Valeriu Banica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Gabino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Cervezeros's goal looked a bit too open when Valeriu Banica came free, but Luisito Gabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benicio Abaunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Gabino having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Seguinus in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alonzo Iratxo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute Anselmo Senon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cervezeros getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Constantino Mikelats hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Valeriu Banica left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hijos del Powa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Senon in the 44th minute of play forced Hijos del Powa's goalkeeper Alonzo Iratxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Hijos del Powa's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Seguinus came free, but Alonzo Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valeriu Banica made a kick off. In the 60th match minute, Hijos del Powa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Pacorro to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 61 minutes, Denis Pelayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cervezeros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Pelayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Hijos del Powa's Bernard Paciuszko got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Luisito Gabino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valeriu Banica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hector Oro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Valeriu Banica had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisito Gabino. Cervezeros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valeriu Banica was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Cervezeros's Luisito Gabino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriu Banica in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th match minute, Cervezeros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Enekoitz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cervezeros booed when Hijos del Powa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriu Banica didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Constantino Mikelats took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Alonzo Iratxo to make any attempt to save it. 88 minutes into the match, Hijos del Powa's goalkeeper Alonzo Iratxo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Senon. In the 95th minute of the match Jaime Estebe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luisito Gabino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Anselmo Senon notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Hijos del Powa's Alonzo Iratxo. Alonzo Iratxo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hijos del Powa were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
