Dionisio Cordareo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Cresitobalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With a little luck, Mercedes FC's Zacarias Eneas got control of the ball when Rodolfo Gaufred tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Dario Cresitobalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mercedes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Cresitobalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionisio Cordareo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the match, Dario Cresitobalo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Dream Team's Dionisio Cordareo. Dionisio Cordareo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Gaufred recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zacarias Eneas. Rodolfo Gaufred showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Zacarias Eneas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Gaufred in the 35th minute of play. Mercedes FC's Zacarias Eneas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Mercedes FC from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, one of Mercedes FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mercedes FC. Mercedes FC's Zacarias Eneas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Mercedes FC from getting a goal against them.

The wind increased when Lorenzo Osasun made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lorenzo Osasun in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Eneas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute Rodolfo Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Eneas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dream Team's Eriberto Munio got a free kick in the 55th minute. Lorenzo Osasun struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Zacarias Eneas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dream Team. Rodolfo Gaufred blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zacarias Eneas having to make a save. Rodolfo Gaufred sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Lorenzo Osasun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zacarias Eneas was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lorenzo Osasun in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zacarias Eneas saved Mercedes FC from getting behind. In the 94th minute, Lorenzo Osasun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarias Eneas was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dream Team fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mercedes FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
