Devoto FC's Jeremias Gaztea got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredo Bieito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Olo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, Tomás Henrico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luciano Guillelmus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the game, independiente-de-mardel's Rosendo Jokin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The wind increased when Jeremias Gaztea made the kick off in the second half. Tomás Henrico received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luciano Guillelmus came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomás Henrico slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 56th minute. Alfredo Bieito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Gaztea, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Luciano Guillelmus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Higinio Bartoli in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Americo Olo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Devoto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Olo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Bieito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in independiente-de-mardel's zone, Jeremias Gaztea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Bieito came out of the goal and Jeremias Gaztea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute Rosendo Jokin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, independiente-de-mardel's Luciano Guillelmus threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomás Henrico, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Devoto FC's Luciano Guillelmus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Jokin in the 87th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Americo Olo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Devoto FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Tomás Henrico scored to the left of an out of position Luciano Guillelmus, making the score, 0-4. When the match was over independiente-de-mardel could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Devoto FC throughout the match.
