The audience held their breath when Serafin Martxelin in the 11th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Lisandro Elia's left hand side. 12 minutes into the game, Payogasta AFC's Jacobo Astrada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nereo Oskitz came out of the goal and Anastasio Sesuldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Payogasta AFC's Nereo Oskitz got control of the ball when 张康彬 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nereo Oskitz was a little too slow when Tommy Östensson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-1. Nereo Oskitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
