The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Abechuco during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Independiente booed when Moofy Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Abechuco didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Independiente getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Robustiano Orti hit a great ball. Zacarias Leobardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Hitzeder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, Independiente's Emilio Hitzeder got control of the ball when Zacarias Leobardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emilio Hitzeder made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Zacarias Leobardo sent off a good shot on target. Moofy Futbol Club's Zacarias Leobardo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 28 minutes in the game, fortunately Emilio Hitzeder had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Nereo Panfilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anderson Arósio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogelio Pierres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Rogelio Pierres came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente's Anderson Arósio. But to his dismay, Anderson Arósio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Anderson Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Dorival Mandrak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th match minute, Moofy Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Jacindo to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aureliano Virila to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Zacarias Leobardo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Emilio Hitzeder. Anderson Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Pierres having to interfere. With his leg Rogelio Pierres managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Independiente's Dorival Mandrak fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Moofy Futbol Club's zone, Nereo Panfilo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogelio Pierres came out of the goal and Nereo Panfilo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogelio Pierres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anderson Arósio in the 68th minute of the match. When Anderson Arósio came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anderson Arósio couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute Zacarias Leobardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Hitzeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Independiente getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Gilberto Montes hit a great ball. After 84 played minutes Moofy Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Virila. With his leg Rogelio Pierres managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Independiente's Nereo Panfilo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dorival Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Hitzeder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Virila, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Nereo Panfilo struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Rogelio Pierres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente. Moofy Futbol Club's Rogelio Pierres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Mandrak in the 97th minute of play. Independiente were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
