After 17 minutes of play, Rivas AFC's Fernando Columbo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiburcio Chorche was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rivas AFC's Ivan Sasoin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Lehior in the 37th minute of play. Walery Zbikowski hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Ivan Sasoin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Bikendi in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rivas AFC's zone, Rodrigo Bikendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Sasoin came out of the goal and Rodrigo Bikendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Everardo Lehior stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as AC Impresiones's Rodrigo Bikendi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivan Sasoin. That made the score 1-2 after 52 minutes of play. Everardo Lehior recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Sasoin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walery Zbikowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Rodrigo Bikendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Sasoin having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, AC Impresiones's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Primeiro came free, but Tiburcio Chorche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AC Impresiones's Everardo Lehior got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Odol hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Everardo Lehior could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Ivan Sasoin made a huge save. Ivan Sasoin didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when AC Impresiones's Rodrigo Bikendi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. 94 minutes into the game, Everardo Lehior cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Ivan Sasoin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AC Impresiones played a much better game than Rivas AFC and deserved their victory. The Rivas AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
