Fernando Iban struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Wilfredo Pietro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chañar FC. 19 minutes into the game, Geronimo Beturian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Eustaquio Harriet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eustaquio Harriet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Beturian in the 23rd minute of play. If Ricardo Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geronimo Beturian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geronimo Beturian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Eustaquio Harriet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geronimo Beturian in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eustaquio Harriet saved Chañar FC from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Alvaro Hitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Maj Kosič in the 64th minute really tested Wilfredo Pietro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 70th minute, Chañar FC's Fernando Iban ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilfredo Pietro. Wilfredo Pietro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Eustaquio Harriet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Beturian, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Geronimo Beturian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. In the 81stth minute of the game Geronimo Beturian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chañar FC's Eustaquio Harriet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Gerardo Egoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eustaquio Harriet. Chañar FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerardo Egoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 86 minutes into the match, Chañar FC's goal looked a bit too open when German Refugio came free, but Eustaquio Harriet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rene Tulio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
