The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Cieneguita AFC's goalkeeper Teodosio Goiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emerson Myers. After 10 played minutes Blaquier Ultimate F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Saul Ofelio. The audience was convinced that Christian Peruanton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severin Wangberg was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. When Emerson Myers fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blaquier Ultimate F.C.'s protests and gave Emerson Myers a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Cieneguita AFC's Teodosio Goiz got control of the ball when Emerson Myers tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Christian Peruanton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Severin Wangberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th match minute, Blaquier Ultimate F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Argüello to maneuver through the defense. Cieneguita AFC's Christian Peruanton got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute Teodosio Sansone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severin Wangberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severin Wangberg came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Cieneguita AFC's Christian Peruanton. But to his dismay, Christian Peruanton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 43 minutes into the match, Cieneguita AFC's Christian Peruanton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severin Wangberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute Christian Peruanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severin Wangberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Blaquier Ultimate F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Christian Peruanton came free, but Severin Wangberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Cieneguita AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Peruanton to strike the kick off in the second half. If Teodosio Sansone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severin Wangberg was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Christian Peruanton capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christian Peruanton really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Peruanton in the 69th minute of play forced Blaquier Ultimate F.C.'s goalkeeper Severin Wangberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Primitivo Egoi made in the 72nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Placido Illart immediately put the ball in play. If Christian Peruanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, Cieneguita AFC's Christian Peruanton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severin Wangberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Severin Wangberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Peruanton in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Christian Peruanton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Severin Wangberg, 0-5. Cieneguita AFC played a much better game than Blaquier Ultimate F.C. and deserved their victory. The Blaquier Ultimate F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
