Miguel Gil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Abramo FC's Maximo Otsoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Idacio in the 14th minute of play. Santo Idacio struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Maximo Otsoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Polonchos. Edvin Lindmark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edvin Lindmark struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Miguel Gil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abramo FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Nahia in the 27th minute of play forced Abramo FC's goalkeeper Maximo Otsoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 30 minutes on the clock, Alfredo Bartolome commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 31 played minutes Abramo FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Bartolome. After a defensive mix-up in Abramo FC's zone, Faustino Sadurni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Otsoa came out of the goal and Faustino Sadurni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximo Otsoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santo Idacio's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Abramo FC's 蔡浩战 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Gil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nemesio Pelayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Polonchos's goalkeeper Miguel Gil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleto Nahia got free with Maximo Otsoa in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santo Idacio was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Los Polonchos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Hitz to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute 蔡浩战 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Gil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abramo FC's Edvin Lindmark got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 蔡浩战 struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Miguel Gil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abramo FC. If Edvin Lindmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 蔡浩战 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Gil having to interfere. Abramo FC's Edvin Lindmark got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximo Otsoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Idacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 86th minute of the match Abramo FC got a corner. Los Polonchos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bonifacio Silbestre ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Abramo FC's Ubaldo Vistruario getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Abramo FC's 蔡浩战 got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If 蔡浩战 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Los Polonchos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Abramo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
