If Serafino Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Froilan Tome in the 30th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 94th minute of the match, Froilan Tome tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Domingos Quintyn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match was over Churqui FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Engranaje FC throughout the match.
