After 27 minutes, Justino Otoniel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beltrán and the MegaDeth players grew even worse after the yellow card. Epifanio Aurken's late challenge caught a Beltrán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Epifanio Aurken helped the player get up and apologised. 34 minutes into the game, Zachary Lerych cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Teodosio Ilixo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With 41 minutes on the clock, Miguel Naelio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of MegaDeth booed when Beltrán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Quinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomasz Pankiewicz to strike the kick off in the second half. The Beltrán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusebio Hechter should have stopped the shot. Beltrán's Eusebio Hechter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Herrera in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomasz Pankiewicz got free with Teodosio Ilixo in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
