Dario Lorien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Rua in the 13th minute of the match. If Alejandro Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Inocencio Hunfredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Lorien having to interfere. A hard shot 19 in the game by Enrico Rua from a close distance when the talented Dario Lorien managed to make a qualified save. Naré FC's players were relieved. After 22 played minutes Población AFC got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Socorro. The excitement rose when Naré FC's Jacinto Remicio after 23 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Población AFC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Naré FC's zone, Inocencio Hunfredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Lorien came out of the goal and Inocencio Hunfredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Enrico Rua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Naré FC's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Hunfredo came free, but Dario Lorien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Vinicio Valerio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Iraido. Población AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vinicio Valerio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Inocencio Hunfredo struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Dario Lorien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Población AFC. After 44 played minutes, Población AFC's Placido Bibiano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dario Lorien came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Población AFC reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmar Ramond to make the kick off. Dario Lorien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Hunfredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The supporters of Población AFC booed when Naré FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Hanot didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Enrique Socorro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inocencio Hunfredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Lorien having to interfere. During the 87th minute of the match Augusto Guerau completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Augusto Guerau a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
