Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascual Abreu in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristo Guerau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of WarBoys FC booed when Calera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Bonifaco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Maju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Alvarez having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Calera FC's Rene Pietro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristo Guerau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Toli to make the kick off. Pascual Abreu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristo Guerau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, WarBoys FC's goalkeeper Cristo Guerau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rene Pietro. The crowd rose to their feet as Pascual Abreu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristo Guerau. That made the score 0-2 in the 77 minute of play. Pascual Abreu struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Cristo Guerau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calera FC. In the 84th match minute, Calera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Argi to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of WarBoys FC booed when Calera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Argi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pascual Abreu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. Calera FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rene Pietro got free with Cristo Guerau in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Calera FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
