Eduardo Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Weather, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Fe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudio Ladio went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eduardo Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Dorio in the 16th minute of play. Teodoro Arnas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Matansilla FC's Leandro Palben got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 24 minutes of play, Matansilla FC's Bartolo Weather made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo Fe was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudio Ladio in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Fe saved Piamonte AC from getting behind. Eduardo Fe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Garaona in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Claudio Ladio notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Piamonte AC's Eduardo Fe. Eduardo Fe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Genaro Peli made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Eloy Gonchan sent off a good shot on target. Teodoro Arnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Peli having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Joel Garaona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Genaro Peli stood somewhat misplaced when Túlio Rosado came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 39 minute. 44 minutes into the match, Matansilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Túlio Rosado came free, but Genaro Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Túlio Rosado to make the kick off. Piamonte AC's Eduardo Fe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Piamonte AC from getting a goal against them. When Adan Cordarius fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matansilla FC's protests and gave Adan Cordarius a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Piamonte AC booed when Matansilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Cordarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Piamonte AC's Eloy Gonchan got a free kick in the 86th minute. Teodoro Arnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Piamonte AC's Túlio Rosado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genaro Peli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4.
