Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dionisio Heriberto got the match started through his kick off. If Gualterio Daunte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 4 minutes into the game, Guaberto Berart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ostende's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Soto the free kick. Guaberto Berart hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Delmar Chorache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Venancio Felipo came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Soto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Felipo couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, Delmar Chorache made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Haritz. Soto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 28 minutes into the game, Miguel Errapel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ostende the free kick. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Soto's goalkeeper Bernardo Haritz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Venancio Felipo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, Danilo Iratzeder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Ostende's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Daunte came free, but Marco Burni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Joaquin Gaitano came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Ostende fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquin Gaitano couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Ostende's zone, Gualterio Daunte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Burni came out of the goal and Gualterio Daunte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Gualterio Daunte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Daunte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gualterio Daunte to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualterio Daunte in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Burni saved Ostende from getting behind. Venancio Felipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Burni having to interfere. Venancio Felipo scored 2-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Burni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Soto's Venancio Felipo got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 67th play minutes Gualterio Daunte shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Marco Burni and just under the crossbar into goal. Marco Burni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gualterio Daunte's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After 80 minutes of play, Soto's Gualterio Daunte made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Burni was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Ostende defense, Gualterio Daunte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Burni. The Ostende fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Burni should have stopped the shot. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Dionisio Heriberto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. During the 90th minute of the match Miguel Errapel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Miguel Errapel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Miguel Errapel hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Soto's Bernardo Haritz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Soto from getting a goal against them. After 97 minutes Soto's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anacleto Leheren who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ostende's Anacleto Leheren to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernardo Haritz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Soto players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
