The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gavino Elixio during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Báez's Gavino Elixio got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Rebiyana Novianto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Silbestre in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Cordarryl in the 7th minute of play forced Timperley's goalkeeper Laureano Itzaina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorino Tavio lost his temper 10 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Laureano Itzaina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Chan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Anibal Chan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laureano Itzaina was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eleuterio Urdaspal in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laureano Itzaina saved Timperley from getting behind. Anibal Chan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Timperley's Casimiro Silbestre in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Báez's goalie prevented a goal. Laureano Itzaina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Chan in the 33rd minute of the match. Gavino Elixio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Silbestre got free with Rebiyana Novianto in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gavino Elixio hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Laureano Itzaina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Lluterio in the 43rd minute of play. Casimiro Silbestre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Rebiyana Novianto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melquiades Lluterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Itzaina having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eleuterio Urdaspal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eleuterio Urdaspal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anibal Chan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Laureano Itzaina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Timperley's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Chan came free, but Laureano Itzaina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes Timperley's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ramon Quico who took care of the corner kick. Melquiades Lluterio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 60th match minute, Báez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hulusi Altan to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute of the match Edelmiro Belo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rebiyana Novianto skillfully saved the ball. Anibal Chan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Casimiro Silbestre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rebiyana Novianto. Báez's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casimiro Silbestre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Nicanor Cordarryl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Laureano Itzaina made a huge save. After 74 minutes, Edelmiro Belo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Timperley and the Báez players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Timperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Belo to maneuver through the defense. Ramon Quico shot from long distance in the 75th minute, but Laureano Itzaina was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Eleuterio Urdaspal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 79 in the game by Anibal Chan from a close distance when the talented Laureano Itzaina managed to make a qualified save. Timperley's players were relieved. With a little luck, Timperley's Laureano Itzaina got control of the ball when Eleuterio Urdaspal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute, Nicanor Cordarryl fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Laureano Itzaina, passed just outside the right post. If Bernabe Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eleuterio Urdaspal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Laureano Itzaina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Melquiades Lluterio came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Báez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Lluterio couldn't finish the play. Anibal Chan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laureano Itzaina having to make a save. When Báez's Anibal Chan in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Timperley's goalie prevented a goal. Eleuterio Urdaspal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Itzaina having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Silbestre in the 95th minute of play forced Báez's goalkeeper Rebiyana Novianto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 96 minutes of play, Báez's Anibal Chan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laureano Itzaina was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Báez players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
