Fausto Orlo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nunez Nuno showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Jakobe in the 11th minute of play forced Defensa y justicia's goalkeeper Gogo Abaurre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gogo Abaurre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Gelacio in the 14th minute of play. Gogo Abaurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Gelacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Defensa y justicia's Gogo Abaurre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Gelacio in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Tadzio got free with Fausto Orlo in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute Nunez Nuno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Orlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmar Jakobe struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Gogo Abaurre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tafí AFC. When Donato Haitz fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensa y justicia's protests and gave Donato Haitz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Defensa y justicia's Donato Haitz got a free kick in the 31st minute. Enrique Panpili charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrique Panpili the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Defensa y justicia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! After having played for 39 minutes, Delmar Jakobe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tafí AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmar Jakobe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delmar Jakobe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Abaurre having to interfere. Gaspar Mendiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Gogo Abaurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmar Jakobe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gogo Abaurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Gelacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Delmar Jakobe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gogo Abaurre was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
In the 54th minute, Victoriano Cuartio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute Delmar Jakobe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Abaurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gogo Abaurre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Gaspar Mendiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Abaurre having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Tafí AFC's Gaspar Mendiko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Tobias Gelacio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Delmar Jakobe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmar Jakobe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Gogo Abaurre skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bernabe Guillelmo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Gogo Abaurre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tafí AFC. After a defensive mix-up in Defensa y justicia's zone, Delmar Jakobe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogo Abaurre came out of the goal and Delmar Jakobe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Gelacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Gogo Abaurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaspar Mendiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Abaurre having to interfere. When the match was over Tafí AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Defensa y justicia throughout the match.
